Mr. Sonny Herr: Director
I am the Director at CrossPoint Children’s Center, and I have been involved with public and private school education since 1977. With a Master’s Degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University, I have served as a preschool director, assistant principal, principal in private school and as a long term administrative substitute at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. I reside in nearby Eastvale with my wife, who is currently a principal in the Chino Valley Unified School District. I have 2 grown daughters and one granddaughter.

Miss Debby: Administrative Assistant
I have worked in the administrative office at CPCC since its opening in January of 2005. My degree in Business Administration prepared me for various working experiences, ranging from psychiatrist offices to banking to preschools. This is the third preschool office I have worked in and find it very rewarding. I am originally from Washington State, am married, have two grown daughters, and recently became a grandmother. I enjoy getting to know families enrolled in our preschool and am here to help you in any way that I can.

Miss Tammy: Nutritionist
I was born and raised in Norwalk, California and now reside in Ontario with my husband and 3 children. I have worked at CrossPoint since 2005 as the nutritionist preparing snacks and hot lunches for the students, and the atmosphere at CPCC makes it easy to love my job. I hold a Certified Food Worker Certificate and have worked in private preschools since 1998.

Miss Debbie: Assistant Director
I’ve been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for twenty five wonderful years. I have worked with a variety of ages, which include two year olds, four year olds and Kindergarten. I have many joyful memories of the children who have been in my class. I am now the new Assistant Director here at Crosspoint. I will miss being in the classroom but look forward to the opportunity of serving the many families at our facility.

Miss Jennifer
I have been working in preschools for over 16 years, and I cannot imagine my life without teaching. I thank God for blessing me with the gift of teaching, as it is truly a passion of mine.

Miss Marie
I’ve been teaching for 15 years. I started working at CPCC in 2006 and I really enjoy working with the children.

Miss Elda
I currently work as an afternoon teacher with 2 ½ and 3 year olds, and I have been a preschool teacher for the past 22 years. I love helping children develop their learning skills and ability to interact well with other children. I also enjoy communicating with parents and providing a loving, caring and safe environment.

Miss Crystal: Morning Classroom Assistant
God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to love, respect, and teach the smallest members of His kingdom, and I thank Him everyday. I live in Chino and am recently married. I have been working in preschools since early 2010, and I’ve volunteered with young children since 2005. I am currently working as a morning classroom assistant here at CrossPoint. I look forward to being here every day, as I enjoy working with the children, parents, and staff.

Miss Felicia
My name is Felicia Galarze and I am currently working towards a degree in child development. I have worked with all ages of children from infant to school age. I truly enjoy seeing children grow and develop.

Miss Crista
I have been working with children for the past nine years, and have enjoyed every minute of it. Each year has taught me something new. I feel God has called me to work with children, because every child shows me how God can have a child-like heart. I am also involved with my church, I volunteer my free time with underprivileged youth. God has really placed young kids in my life to be a blessing to me.

Miss Sharon
I have been working in preschools since 1979, and have worked in Chino for the past 5 years. Currently, I am a morning and afternoon teacher in a 3 year old classroom at CrossPoint. I love to see the joy on a child’s face when they master a new skill, and after so many years of teaching I am still learning new things. I love the job God has given me.

Miss Ebony
I am so blessed to have a job I truly love, since teaching is one of my strongest passions. I am a morning and afternoon teacher in a 3 year old class. I have worked in preschools since 2002 in Chino and Chino Hills, and I’m currently attending school to earn my Master’s Degree.

Miss Pam
I work as a morning teacher with 3 year old children. I received my Bachelor’s Degree and later received my preschool teaching certificate in 2003. I honestly believe that this is the best and most rewarding job in the world.

Miss Tara
I’ve been working in the child development field for 9 years. I have an A.A. in Liberal Studies and an A.S. in Child Development. My mother and grandmother were both teachers so it came naturally as a little girl to dream about being a teacher. At CrossPoint I work as a morning and afternoon teacher. I have been married for six years.

Miss Laura: Morning Classroom Assistant
I am truly blessed to be a part of CPCC. I have been teaching for two years, and I thank God that he has shown me what a blessing it is to teach and watch his little children grow.

Miss Rachel
It is a joy to be part of the staff at CrossPoint Children’s Center. In the classroom, CPCC helps children to grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally to prepare them to live a life that honors God. It has been my privilege to work with preschool children since 1995. I am the proud mother of 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren.

Miss Diane
I have been blessed to work with preschool children for the past 30 years. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and have a Site Supervisors Permit. Each child is a gift, and helping them to reach their potential is very rewarding.

Miss Dee
My experience includes working with pre-k and kindergarten classes. My focus in the classroom is to provide a loving, caring, and safe environment so that I can prepare them for the next grade or age level. I am a morning and afternoon teacher in a 4 year old classroom, and I have worked in preschools in the local area since 2002.

Miss Yolanda
I have been teaching preschool for 7 ½ years and it has been great. I am in the process of finishing my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, and I currently have an A.S. in Child Development as well as an A.A. in General Education. I feel truly blessed to be able to work at a job that I enjoy coming to everyday.

Miss Beckie
I have been working in preschools since 1980. I worked at Bethany Baptist Preschool for 11 years as a Pre-K teacher and then the Interim Director for 2 years. Then, from 1998-2004 I worked as the Children’s Ministry Secretary at my church. I began working at CrossPoint when the preschool first opened in 2005 and I currently teach a 4 and 5 year old class. From an early age I knew God wanted me to work with children, so this is what I take seriously and I truly enjoy what I do.

Miss Sue
I have been involved teaching in preschools for 29 years. I taught in Diamond Bar for 22 years, in Chino for 7 years and the past 4 years at CrossPoint. I currently teach an afternoon 4 and 5 year old class.

Miss Angie: Afternoon Class
I am proud to be part of CPCC’s staff. I have worn many hats at CrossPoint. I have been an classroom assistant and a morning and afternoon class teacher. I love seeing my students learn and develop in so many ways. I encourage open communication with my student’s parents. My goal is to have your child’s preschool experience be a positive and exciting time. I believe that with a happy and loving beginning a child can easily open their mind and heart to learn. I have been blessed to have worked in preschools since 1979.

Miss Estela
I have been teaching since 2002, and I’m currently working in a class with 4 and 5 year old students. My philosophy in teaching is to treat my students the way I would expect my own children to be treated by their teachers. I have been married for 12 years and have two children.

Miss Bonnie
I have been teaching in the preschool setting for the past 11 years, focusing on children between the ages of four and five years old. My passion is to help students understand basic reading and writing concepts in their early years. I enjoy the opportunity to witness their faces light up with pride and understanding of their accomplishments. I am currently teaching a class of 4 and 5 year olds.

Miss Hannah
I feel extremely blessed to be in a position where I am able to use my gift of teaching for the Lord. I have completed numerous classes in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently continuing my education to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. My teaching philosophy is to show children love and treat them with respect, while understanding that each child is unique and learns differently. I am currently a morning and afternoon teacher and have worked in preschools since 2006.

Miss Robin: Morning Classroom Assistant
I have been working with preschool age children for about 7 years. I am a qualified preschool teacher but currently work as a classroom aide. I have been at CrossPoint for 5 years and I really enjoy the children and staff.

Miss Tandi
I am a co-teacher for the kindergarten class here at CPCC. I have been an educator for 15 years, and 5 of those years have been spent as a kindergarten teacher. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Fullerton in English and Literature, as well as Master Teacher and Site Supervisor certificates from the State. As a teacher I believe I am a facilitator of learning, so I strive to provide the means by which a child’s thought is inspired then provide the way for him to express what he has discovered.

Miss Jenna
I have always had a passion to work with children. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from California Baptist University with a concentration in Early Childhood and Human Development. My teaching philosophy is to treat each child with love, respect and dignity knowing that each child learns and develops differently. Presently I am a kindergarten teacher and have been working in early childhood education since 2005.
